Dubai's luxury scene just got a significant upgrade with the arrival of Iliana, the glamorous new Greek-Mediterranean destination nestled within the breathtaking Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. From its chic restaurant offering authentic coastal cuisine and its luxurious pool club perfect for day-long relaxation, Iliana is already a must-visit. Yet, the final, and perhaps most anticipated, element of this concept has just been unveiled: the stunning Iliana rooftop.

If you're a long-term fan of the charming coastal vibes you find at spots like Shimmers and Tamoka, then you're absolutely going to love Iliana's refined take on the concept. This sophisticated, triple-threat venue is helmed by Head Chef Andreas Gkipalis, so you know the Greek cuisine is top-tier; we're talking signature plates like the famous Feta me Meli and whatever fresh catch you grab from the Iced Fish Market. The luxurious pool club is your beautiful daytime retreat with cabanas and curated cocktails. It’s open to hotel guests, but happily, you can also purchase a premium pool day pass to enjoy the stunning waterfront views.

But, honestly, the true showstopper is the Iliana rooftop, which officially opened its elevated doors in November 2025. We were lucky enough to be invited to their dazzling opening party last week, and the whole experience was pure cinematic glamour. Seriously, walking up the carpet-lined stairs felt like stepping directly onto the set of one of my favorite early 2000s rom-coms—I was half expecting to find Kate Hudson or Cameron Diaz sipping a cocktail up there!

The atmosphere is electric, blending cosmopolitan beats with a palpable buzz. It really is THE new spot in the city, making you feel completely immersed in the moment, especially with those truly spectacular, head-on views of the Burj Al Arab and the majestic Marsa Al Arab hotel itself. Sipping cocktails with all those city lights sparkling around me, I had to stop and think: if 15-year-old me could see me right now, she would be completely amazed.
