Travel Guides:
Nevada

Nevada is a western US state known for desert landscapes, casinos, and national parks. Las Vegas, its most famous city, is known for nightlife, entertainment, and themed resorts. Reno and Carson City (the capital) offer access to the Sierra Nevada mountains and Lake Tahoe. Nevada is mostly arid, with hot summers and mild winters, especially in southern regions. English is the main language, and the US dollar is used. The state is sparsely populated outside its urban hubs, making road trips the most effective way to travel. Nevada is home to parts of Death Valley, Great Basin National Park, and remote ghost towns. It also has strong links to the history of the American West and the mining boom. Legal gambling, large festivals like Burning Man, and wide-open desert scenery draw a variety of travellers. It’s a good fit for those interested in entertainment, off-grid adventure, or nature-based experiences.
